Opening night rosters

Created by: KingsLover
Team: 2019-20 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 22, 2019
Published: Sep. 23, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Definitely contending to make it back to the playoffs. I don't see them finishing top 2 in the division and I can see anywhere from 3rd-6th in the division.
Best case scenario be competitive and in playoff contention and then buy some top 9 forwards at the deadline.
Players for sale: Kevan Miller, Anders Bjork, Trent Fredric, Jakub Zboril, and Jeremy Lauzon along with picks in this year and the 2021 draft.

They have two years of competing for the cup left Imo, before they're sort of just a first round exit team.

I dont think backes is making the team tbh. I think he goes to ahl and then asks to be moved and waives his ntc.

Bjork, Frederic and Lauzon are pretty safely not for sale... Yet.

Studnicka goes to providence to start.

Coyle 3c with Heinen and Bjork.

Steen may find his way into lineup

So the bruins were comfortably in second place in the division last year. I’m curious as to what makes you look at this team, compared to last team, or the other teams in the division, and think things have changed enough that they’re going to be between 3-6?

Yeah hopefully our draft picks will help with making this team better. But ive actually started watching the Canucks since that's my dads favourite team and I think theyre my second favourite team

Idk if you're a Bruins fan/followed them or not

Backes, Moore, Miller are available. Cehlarik (waivers if he doesn't make the team) and Lauzon because he is NHL ready
Not Bjork, Frederic, Zboril

Most people are high on Studnicka; I am as well but imo, he should start in Providence. L3 is for Bjork/Cehlarik. 74-46-83 is probably the 2nd line. 4th will be Nordstrom-Kuraly-Wagner.

Leaves Lindholm, Backes and Ritchie. Direction/coaching staff or whatever, seem to prefer Ritchie. Liked Lindholm so far (for a 13th F). Backes...

Exactly, they will be 2nd, TOR hasn't improved

Don't underestimate the Bruins, sure they're one of the best now and some people think they will be bad afterwards but imo, they will still be good

Players for sale
Kevan Miller - Yes
Anders Bjork - Highly unlikely
Trent Fredric - They wouldn't move him for Brayden Schenn last year
Jakub Zboril - Yes
Jeremy Lauzon - Unlikley as he's NHL ready and Boston has gone through a lot of d-men the last few years. Lauzon also plays both side of the defense
picks in this year and the 2021 draft - Excluding 1st rounders. Sweeney doesn't seem willing to part with those.
