Just curious, how many players is the minimum a team has to carry during the season? Is it only 20?

I'm pretty sure you have to dress 18 skaters and 2 goalies for a game, so yeah I think 20 would be the absolute minimum

I'd move Kerfoot and Kapanen before Hyman

Why? Kappy is pure speed and can play PK like Hyman. Moore has Hymans motor and could be a replacement. Kerfoot can play centre or wing.

I like Hyman but he is replaceable

I don’t believe so. May be able to move a lesser pick... maybe

I did a thread offering Hyman, Bracco and a 4th and got ripped apart from Leafs Nation.... I see they've been more gentle with you lol

Just curious because on off days they could make paperwork moves sending players down to save in the cap for when LTIR players return.

NHL success is built on centre depth at forward. Kerfoot is an important piece for his ability to play C.

I wouldn't include Bracco.

Cap does not accrue in ltir. This applies to hold outs and even TDL moves. The cap is no longer calculated daily but as a whole.

If it would make the deal go through I would. Bracco does not have a spot in the leafs this year. Not only does he deserve to be on a bottom 6 somewhere but after this season he loses value due to his age.

At any time we can move kappy back to the right and allow one of Moore, mikeyev or Timashov to move up. At this point Bracco is behind mikeyev on the right side and we can put anyone in the 4th line.

This trade is just as beneficial next year as it would be this year. Maybe even more so.

You have not seen him play center yet. All reviews so far are not good
