I think both of these trades are firmly in the realm of possibility. I actually like Sanford, but I can’t deny that Blais and Kostin both look like beasts and Kyrou will also need to play. As for Edmundson, I will be quite happy when I don’t have to watch him anymore.

Yeah these arent bad moves, and I like the idea of getting Kostin into the lineup. I like Eddy on the third pairing but he is paid a little more than he should be for that role. I think if you packaged Sandford and Eddy together maybe you could get a better LHD replacement for Eddy?

For someone who isn't too familiar with Edmundson, what exactly is wrong with his play?

He is solid but does not skate well, and was exposed oftentimes in the playoffs, seemed to regress last season compared to previous year.

He seems pretty tough to play against I guess and he’s surprisingly okay offensively, but he just is constantly doing dumb stuff that I can’t stand. He turns it over a lot, takes awful penalties, and this year he got exposed constantly. One of the underrated reasons why the Blues started winning was because Edmundson got less ice-time.

While in fine with these moves, here's the counter:

• losing Ed's leaves us exposed when jbo and/or gunn inevitably get hurt.
• We do have a spot(only 1) for the 3 of kostin, kyrou, and poganski. Honestly who the F is worried about losing MacEachern? He likely won't get claimed this time of the year, if he does, he'd easily be replaced
