There is no reason for Connor not to be signed, whether he wants a short or long term deal the market is set, sign or pound sand kid!

I kinda wonder if the buffy curveball, has been a factor, where the possibility of more money came into play, and now that has flipped negotiations upside down a little, til there’s a buffy decision. I just hope Atleast one gets 6/7 years and off the list to solve anytime soon

Just was looking into that. It’s a huge question mark and you can’t sign the 2 for more with the expectation of buff retiring and than he doesn’t; it def has changed things

Buffalo has to overpay people to get them to stay. I think Winnipeg is in the same boat here. Who wants to live in Winnipeg?

Not necessarily true. Wheeler, Scheifele, morrisey, Ehlers, and Byfuglien all singed for pretty good contracts.

Reasonable priced housing, fishing, camping within a hrs drive, and peace and quiet, just got to hate that, why do rangers continue in overpaying people then. They would buy people out every summer if they could.

After the last 2 free agent signings have taken discounts on market value to play here. mmkay buddy.

Edit: your other points are well taken. I wouldn't mind all those things personally. But young guys with all the money in the world might not be looking for those things at this point in their lives.
