The first one might be a stretch depending on how they feel about Risto. The second one is close to fair because Tampa gets an NHL ready RHD on an entry level contract, a first (you never know where that goes with Buffalo), and Thompson (which I don't know much of where he's at).

Hickey for Scandella straight up.

Or Hickey and something for Sheary and Scandella.

Canucks don't have the cap space to pull that off. Even if they did, they don't need another top 4 defensemen with defensive issues. Meyers already has that covered.

Not sure where Sheary fits, Isles have more forwards on the roster than they can keep already.

I would do Hickey for Scandella straight up to remove Hickey's cap hit moving forward, while still replacing him adequately for this season.

The second deal is also to remove cap for next year and make the team stronger this year. If we were to do Hickey and let's say MDC or JHS (preferably JHS) for Sheary and Scandella, my lines would be:
