Description
I think Jarmo gets a trade done before the season starts. Connor is probably his most likely target, but could very well go after Laine instead. Peg fans will probably get mad and ask for Werenski or something outrageous. If they can't get a deal done for one or the other, the value will start to slip. Might be panic mode too if Buff retires.

Interesting...one of the only trades on here that seems to be good value wise on both sides...

Good idea to go after Connor. He has the ties to Werenski and can score a ton of goals. If I'm WPG I'm asking for Nuti and Bemstrom and a pick, but the offer you've put up isn't bad value. I'm just not a fan of those guys really.

Does Ryan Murray play well on his off side?

He has in the past. Nutivaara is actually better on his off hand, so he might be a better piece instead of Murray (cheaper, healthier)

I thought about Nuti, he would definitely be available. Bemstrom is probably off limits, along with Texier and Peeke, but another good prospect might be available.

Remember something...Connor is way better than Bemstrom(and only 2 years older)....So if you want him then you will have to give up a top prospect.

Savard, Bjorkstrand, Bemstrom and a 1st for Connor and Beaulieu

Winnipeg isn’t doiing that trade. Connor is 2 time 30 goal scorer. Winnipeg would want pierre luc dubois back or a package that include texier and nutivaara. Murray isnt bad but is injury history doesnt make him a interesting asset

Bemstrom is simply not available.
It's not even worth arguing. Neither would be Foudy or Tex.
This team is building with youth. I'm sure a team could have at some of the defensive depth. But they aren't trading away the youth anytime soon.
Anyone asking for PLD is high as a kite.

Bahahaha PLD straight up would still be an overpay by CBJ. I never claimed this was a perfectly even deal, but if Peg can’t get something done for Connor, this may be better than nothing

I think they will stick with nothing! They have the right for connor for 6 more year i don’t think they will trade him if they don’t get a major return. Would you trade dubois for ryan murray, bjorkstrand and a 1 st ??

PLD isnt on the table-Fair enough....Connor is still young...as I said...only 2 years older then Bemstrom or Tex

WPG won't trade Connor for what was proposed....

Not right now, but he isn't holding out of Training Camp for a new contract. Connor is. If Peg doesn't sign him, would you really rather him sit out an entire year rather than getting pieces that can help the team right now? It's not like I'm offering table scraps like most trades on here.

Yes i would hold him out! I think that everyday that he sitting out he lost leverage over Winnipeg on negociation. Plus with the trouba, myers, and chiarot Losses they won’t let him go away unless the return is absolutely incredible.

I mean, y'all got fleeced on the Trouba trade, so I don't think this is too far off base compared to that

And stop saying y’all i am not a jet or jacket fan. I am just a hockey fan that isn’t biased on any side. The situation is completely different of trouba. The jets have got all in with trouba because he clearly said he wasn’t interested in signing long term with Winnipeg. If they wanted to maximize the return they should have trade him last year but they thought they could make it too the cup. This year is very different, the jets have a completely different team. They will be battling for a wild card spot so there no urgency of trading connor even if he sit out. I think that the jets are willing toi take a step back rather then trading him for lesser parts. I mean they trade the best player, and got two older players and a pick.

They didn't have to take back $7.1m in the Trouba trade which is what you're proposing they take on in cap hit for Bjorkstrand and Murray. I don't see how you're proposal helps them out of their cap crunch.

It’s not about the cap crunch, it’s about Connor not signing in the Peg, so trade him. Same as trouba

Being that Murray is left side D, the logical choice would be either Savard or Nutivaara, with a throw in of Harrington or Kukan.
Bjorkstrand, Savard, Harrington/Kukan, and a 2nd is a pretty good package for Connor.
