Really like Dach. Wish the sharks had a pick and maybe traded up if he fell. Always been a fan of him, Chicago is a sleeper team this year people are forgetting about

I just dont know about Dach. I think its incredibly likely that the hawks send him down after the European trip. Seems to me that they are holding onto him while he recovers from his concussion just to make sure everything is cool. Im not sure why they would bring him on the European trip if he is not likely to play, but it is happening so...

I think they for sure are giving him a good look. I wouldn't be surprised to see him play a few games during the regular season before they make a decision. Compared to Kampf as a 3C, I think Dach has a shot. Not to say I don't like Kampf, but he's a 4th liner.

According to JC he has potential as a 2nd line C. I'm all for giving Dach a good look, but having Boqvist and Dach both slide this year is an ideal outcome.

Boqvist definitely is not ready defensively. Put him on wing though and I'm all for it!

Kampf has 2C potential?

He played 2c at points last year. JC is really high on the kid and I think that he will get every opportunity to play up the lineup.

Kampf shouldn't be a 2C....good God. Sounds like we have another Coach Q with JC's obsession with Kampf. He's a solid 4th liner and has a chance at 3rd line, but anything more then that I don't get. Maybe JC and Kampf are having an affair

Dach was just confirmed to make the trip to Europe, but they said he’s almost guaranteed NOT to play in Europe. Still don’t understand why were bothering here folks........

Is it too late trade him to LA for Turcotte???

It looks like he's going to get his 9 game tryout at the start of the season. They want him to practice with the team is my guess.

They are obviously high on Dach and hope he can make team sooner or later. They take him to Europe so he can bond with the team, skate with them, practice, get to know the system, etc. If he was Rockford eligible they probably would have sent him there, but because he is going to WHL, they will drag him around for as long as they can.
