Kinda far off from best lines IMO... Johansson should be 3-4th line preferably 3rd. Vesey can be 1st line winger...or Tage, Mittlesdat should be #2 Center with Sam as the winger. Goalies switched and Larsson in for Girgensons and it not horrible. Also Dahlin won't play with Risto, it will be Montour or Miller ... Montours injured rn...U got Eichs, Skinny, Victor, Dahlin, Rodri, and Okposo right.

I wouldn't play Eichel and Johansson together. They are probably your best two puck possession/space creators - Let one help Reinhart and let one help Skinner.

Johansson is better than 3rd or 4th line guy. You will be pleasantly surprised as long as he keeps his head up.

I agree. Save Skinner-Eichel-Johansson for late game situations when you need a goal. Otherwise, Johansson would be best suited on that second line.

I still will have to see, he isn't as good as players in our top 6 though right now.

Johansson is not a 4th line player. He's good middle-six guy. Probably a third liner on a stacked team, but on Buffalo he should be playing on the second line.

When you need a goal, not really saying your wrong but I would put Dahlin - (Montour-Risto) - Skinner - Eichs - Reinhart if we pull goalie then Mitts if he steps up or Ollofson

So I like him as middle six, but he won't play over Eichel Reinhart Skinner Ollofson and Mitts... I would rather play a young guy like Vesey or Thompson who has a better shot in the #1 RW than Johanssons

As long as Sobadka doesnt make the team and Olofsson and Joki do Im pleased. Forward lines should look like this:

Skins, Eichel, Vesey/Sheary
Olofsson, Mitts, Reinhart
Johansson, ERod, Vesey/Sheary
Girgs, Larsson, Okposo

Don't get me wrong though I like him a lot, his zone entries and exits are amazing, will be great for the 2nd maybe first PP...but probably 2nd, what do you think of his shot?

From an outside POV - he is your 4th best forward. Miles ahead of Vesey. If he stays Healthy should give you 25/35. Also surprisingly good defensively.

I admittedly know nothing about Olofsson

4th best yea...maybe I don't disagree at all, his shot is just not good enough for me to be Eichs winger...but he is a great Puck mover

Johansson is a great PP guy. He was first unit for years when he was on the Caps and they had the best powerplay in the game. He's not going to score a ton of goals since he only has one 20 goal season in his career. He's probably going to be about a 15 goal guy who can add another 30-40 assists if he gets a lot of 1st PP unit time.

Nice reference! The guy who can kind of speak Dutch is by far the best commercial in that series.

Wow lots of chat on here.
I would say, as this seems to be one of the biggest points, Mittlestadt is not ready to play center and would be much better to develop on the wing, or even the AHL. There is a long way to go there.

He is playing alot better than last year. He is protecting the puck really well and I've noticed he isnt wandering the ice anymore. He is playing with purpose. I dont think he should make the team this year unless he is in the top 9. Dont want to waste his talent on the 4th

I agree... In the corners he pushes players away and is way better at pushing the play up the ice. Good defensively also!
