Fox Sports is reporting that JJ hung himself with his Gucci belt. Crosby found him this morning and retired out of grief.

EDIT: It was also reported that there were thousands of additional, identical, new-in-box Gucci belts in JJ's one-bedroom apartment. Some sort of bizarre hoarder-style situation. Can't teach old dogs new tricks, I guess. More to come.

If it took a 1st to move 1 year of Patrick Marleau, I'd imagine its going to take at least a 1st to move Johnson.

Marleau is the human equivalent to a bag of milk. At least Johnson has grit.

I’d argue a team would rather have 1 year of Marleau than FOUR years of Johnson. Term matters -Statistically he’s been one of the worst defenseman in the NHL over the last 2 years.
