Isles is Dobson and it’s not close, Panthers is Grigori Deniskenko, Kings is definitely Turcotte

LA's really depends on Vilardi's health. Even fully healthy though, him and Turcotte are about even. I give the edge to Turcotte at this point due to health.

Hopefully Vilardi plays again. Heck of a hockey player from what I've seen.

From Edmonton it's either Bouchard or Broberg. Yamamoto is probably about 6th or 7th.

I'm huge on Sorokin, and Heponiemi has been insane Denisenko was my second best choice. Kings was Turcotte or Vilardi imo.

Yeah, I just think you have a great Offense. I think he is your best because you need some defense, and Brook is doing very well.

I don't count him as a Prospect because he's about to get NHL time this year. otherwise of course.

Re: Vilardi

He’s a highly skilled and intelligent player who can play a hard game and make plays down low. Some scouts adore him, some are still concerned by his skating. I think if he’s healthy he’s a true top prospect even with the skating concerns. If he had 100 percent health, he’s a projected first-line forward. But he’s not and there are some teams with major concerns. In a survey of the industry, NHL sources felt his trade value ranged anywhere from a high second-round pick to not even a seventh. The median value was around a 3rd/4th round pick. Corey Pronman

It's a matter of opinion between Turcotte or Vilardi. I give the edge to Vilardi because he has faced better competition than Turcotte has. Turcotte plays for USDP , and Vilardi plays CHL.

Corey Pronman ranks Batherson at the top and Formenton 3rd. About Brannstrom: He’s 5-foot-10, so there will be concerns on how well he can defend NHL players with size, speed and skill. So far he’s been fine defensively as a pro, albeit not amazing. Some scouts have concerns over his upside, seeing a small defenseman without elite skill.

I guess, I just really like how Chekhovich plays. He is a solid prospect. Merkley was my second choice.

Did you read the quote I posted? It's a matter of opinion all right, and even the most optimistic of NHL sources felt he was worth a high 2nd round pick, with the median response being a 3rd/4th - not even close to Turcotte's value.

I'm not sure Zadina is Detroit's best prospect.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but for the Angels, er, Ducks, I would like people to keep an eye out for Maxime Comtois and Troy Terry.

I'm not sure I follow your logic then because Siegenthaler played half the season at NHL level...so maybe Brett Leason? Connor McMicheal, or Alexei Protas?

Yes, but I don't think that unsigned juniors should be considered as "prospects." They are "futures."

If their rights are owned by an NHL team they absolutely qualify as a prospect.
