Rantanene isnt worth Forsberg + a 1st alone what the **** is this !

Forsberg + a little something vs Rantanen or Forsberg vs Rantanen straight up but why Preds do that

Granlund is a UFA next season, Tolvanen isn’t a guaranteed 1st line player as he was hyped to be as he was 2 years ago and the first round pick will be late 20’s or 30th/31st overall. Forsberg isn’t better than Rantanen so it evens out.

Forsberg’s point totals for the last three seasons are only one point over Rantanens last two (172 vs 171)

Not even including other factors such as size or speed which Rantanen has the advantage there as well.

Mackinnon is definitely a franchise centre but Johansen and Arvidsson aren't scrubs either. I'd say on a 1 for 1 deal the difference is atleast a 1st rounders worth of value and a top 6 forward included.
