I doubt MTL is looking for a RD and Sabres arent looking for a LWer. Also I personally would pass on Drouin

I saw a similar trade and added the picks.
I agree, IMO Drouin is poison.

This is two underperforming players being swapped. No way Bergevin's gonna give up a 2nd and a 3rd

Also I wonder if NHL GMs look here for trade inspiration?
(probably not but if they do thats cool)

If I am trading Ristolainen, I want a 60 pt forward coming back, Drouin is not that man. Maybe the picks make up the difference, but as you said Buffalo needs more RW not LW.
