From what it sounds like the cap could either go up as much as that or stay at 81.5 for next year but it doesn't sound very concrete lol. Like the Dermott deal, not sure if he would fit as a top pair guy though. Barrie deal seems about right but idk man. I'd resign him over muzzin but it's gonna be tricky. leafs could have a shot at pietrangelo in that price range as well considering blues added faulk so he *could* be available as well. if they got him,

I'm excited to see how our defensive depth develops, especially the likes of Sandin, Lily, and Nick Roberston is a Defenceman.

Leafs certainly depending on Sandin and Liljegren to be cost effective NHLers next season. Robertson is a LWer and years away.
Other Marlie Dmen with NHL shot (though I'm not optimistic) ....Hollawell, Duzsak and Lindgren.
