Winnipeg one is an interesting idea. They could really use a RHD. Penguins probably can't re-sign Schultz and Johnson needs to go.

Not sure why Calgary would let TJ Brodie go though.

There are probably better returns out there than Bjugstad, particularly because a trade would likely be because they want to reduce salary. Bjugstad isn't the best value both in terms of ability and in terms of contract.

I don't think Brodie is worth much more than that, to be honest, he's a 4-5 D with severe defensive problems.

I don't think he's worth all that much either. Meanwhile Bjugstad is a third line center being paid 4.1 million and has never really lived up to his physical ability. I think a D that can play on the right side is worth a bit more.

The salary is key here. If the Brodie trade rumors are true, wouldn't they want someone cheaper in return?

A puck moving RHD-man that looks like he is healthy this yr and looks to explode?? And u trade him? I do NOT even see GMJR thinking about this especially if he is on PP1 at Phill's old spot

me either. If they are out the playoffs they will dish him.
They don't need Brodie, they already have Schultz replacement.
