There's absolutely no reason why Rinaldo should have any kind of contract, under any circumstances. (And if they needed a 13th forward, they've already signed Rieder too.)

I'm not a fan of Rinaldo but i voted "yes" because on a 1 year deal at the league minimum, what's the loss with this deal?

the loss is that johnny hockey will get checked into the 3rd row while in practice and miss the rest of the season

Why would they sign the older, dirtier version of Lomberg? I guess they want toughness in Stockton. Here's hoping they don't put him in the lineup on the big club. I don't like this deal but I suppose they do have contract slots to spare and it's only a year.
