I wish shore would make the lineup. I like timashov but running 7 defenseman and 11 forwards with Marty on the pk and platooning with Ceci would be amazing

Lily did not have a good camp. It will be Sandin and Marincin. Lily goes to the AHL when the season starts.

The reason Lily made it is tough schedule in October. This gives them opportunity to try him in regular season for couple of games, what is good, whats bad.. I liked him when he played more minutes actually. Good defensively but made some mistakes. A lot similar to Rasmus Anderssons situation in Calgary two years ago. Couple of games, mostly second nights of back to backs.. But eventually Marlies, yup. But Im happy he is getting the longer look!

I actually think Tima there would be better than Shore.

He will play on the top pair in the AHL and possibly be up after Xmas for the rest of the year. That was the plan last year before he got hurt

Yup. But to start the year. Giving him couple of games would not hurt at all.

probably 5v5 but shore is a far better pk'er. I also dont think hes that bad 5v5 (very underrated playmaker) they also need a center on the penalty kill

Totally, and what if he excels? What if Marincin does the usual and blows himself up a few times and Liljegren proves to be better? I am happy he got a longer look. I think he's going to be a lightning rod for some fans because, well, some fans are idiots and if he doesn't score 30 points they'll hate him and see him as a flop. I think he could be closer to a Vlasic mold of player. Terrific defensively but not much going on offensively. He can skate and handle the puck better than most already. With time and confidence he could become a great two way guy but being a great defensive righty sounds fantastic next to Rielly.
