Im surprised by Goldobin and Baertchi a lot. They are much better than Sutter and Virtanen

Apparently Goldy has been invisible in camp, but I am surprised by the Baertschi move.

So this was the only way it would work??? I guess then it restores some faith. Should have waived Eriksson though. Motte does his job for 5 million less.

If Goldy can't produce offensively, he's useless. So I'm not surprised on that because he did nothing in preseason.
Baertschi is a tough one. He was battling with Leivo and Pearson for a spot and because of the cap situation it was really Pearson vs Baertschi and Pearson won. Tough to see Sven go down, when he is playing well he's fun to watch. Eriksson stays because he is "more effective" defensively in the bottom 6. Personally would have rather seen him go down then Baertschi but I get why they did it this way.
