Why? The Kings already have way too many bottom six forwards and 3rd pairing defensemen. Amadio was one of the better players on the Kings in the preseason and you want to give his spot away to a guy that couldn't crack the Ducks roster?

Well say toffoli walks in the summer sprong is a good replacment and some other players don't come back. Sprong has the skill to be good, the kings are good at devloping young screwed up players into good players. Look at kempe he was not good 2 years ago some help and exprince did diffrnce for him.

What are you going to do with them in the meantime? The Kings are at 48/50 NHL contracts right now. If they pick up 2 guys on waivers, they won't be able to make a 1-for-2 trade like they did with Muzzin last year. If you take those two guys on waivers, you can't send them to the AHL or they'll have to go back on waivers. That means two guys (plus a 3rd when Forbort is healthy) from the current roster will have to go.

I don't know what you're talking about. Kempe's best season was 2 years ago (2017-18). He took a step back last year. He hasn't shown anything yet this year that shows he is capable of reproducing his performance from two years ago.

Unless there's someone available that is significantly better than Grundstrom, Amadio, and/or Wagner on offense, or Hutton, Walker, and Roy on defense, the Kings won't be pursuing anyone via waivers. Neither Sprong nor Djoos are upgrades over what the Kings already have.
