Niskanen wont cost that much....Maybe Sanheim

If the team is all in, Niskanen's a good choice. Last time he played #1RD for most of a year was in Pittsburgh, and he finished with 45 points. If he does that again this year, that's enough puck movement to keep Winnipeg competitive until Byfuglien returns. When the right side has Buff, Niskanen, and Pionk, they should be really, really good.

Fair, but if they want P. Myers to play they have Sanheim, Braun, Niskanen and P.Myers on the right side. Even if you flip Sanheim to the left you have Provy, Ghost, Morin and Hagg there already and you don't want both Morin and Hagg stuck in the pressbox.

My understanding is that there is no way they move Myers or Sanheim so that leaves Braun or Niskanen (they just acquired both)

They could just put Myers in the AHL and then he steps in for Braun next year or when an injury happens, but this allows the Jets to address the need for a proven top 4 RHD and the Flyers to get Myers into the starting lineup and address a weakness at RW in the NHL.
