Everyone in the NHL is a good hockey player. Everyone in pro or semi pro is good at hockey.
He isn't good for the NHL though.

Imagine big buff but without the physicality, defensive upside, and offensive upside. So just size.

He has 6th d man upside if he's very lucky, more likely/suitable to be a 7 or probably 8 on a contending team...

He's huge. Doesn't seem like much of a fighter, but has the ability to throw his weight around has had some bright moments defensively. Offensively he's a blackhole. He didn't score a point in his last 20 games and he played 38 games last year. No goals, obviously. Idk, he might end up being a decent No. 6 guy, but even that's gonna take some work. Don't expect much....
