JJ says not true - projected lineup

Description

So both JJ and GMJR came out and said that the rumors of him being traded before the season are not true. I'm guessing since Rust went down with an injury and was put on LTIR, that frees up cap space so a trade is not needed. When Rust comes back in late November early December, I would suspect a trade then. Other than that this is what I see as a projected Pens starting lineup. I also suspect they call up a forward until Rust gets back or they bring DeSmith up and carry 3 goalies until a trade can be made.

I think whoever is in the lower bowl should throw fish on the ICE every game JJ plays until they trade him.

No GM is going to say a player is going to be traded,,,,not until a deal has been signed. Yep JJ is a Pen for now, maybe for a long time. Rusk can come back from LTIR, and the Pens can go with 22 man roster to be cap compliant.

Obviously a tough look for penguins fans but if you spin it this way: they are sheltering him with schultz and trying to boost his trade value. then you might actually see a glimmer of hope in an otherwise gloomy scenario.

It's not a gloomy scenario at all. This is a deep team with legit nhl talent throughout the whole lineup. Jack Johnson wasn't the reason they had a disappointing season last year. If a teams 6th defenseman can have that drastic of an impact, then no one in that organization should be in any way associated with the NHL. Also, Jack Johnson wasn't even the worst defenseman they used all year.

I think he's simply the most unlucky person in the world. He can have nothing negative to do with the current play. The puck will go in the net if he's on the ice.
He would then instantly get the blame because we'll he was on the ice.
Hell I think he was on the ice when Rust got hurt. And if he wasn't, he was on the bench which is close enough.
He's just really unlucky.
Don't buy a lottery ticket near him. You won't win!
