I'd like to see Sundqvist moved up in the lineup maybe to third line center, or maybe even 2nd line right wing. Perron with Bozak and Thomas. Fabbri where Barbashev is, and Barby play down the middle.

3rd line center makes sense and maybe he eventually passes Bozak and they swap spots. Don't think he moved to 2nd line RW Thomas might though.

I kind of thought the same thing, was surprised Petro and Faulk were both on the same unit.

this is the St. Louis Blues, they play in what is known as the national hockey league and have their first game of the new season tonight. Tune in they are raising some banner before the game, should be cool.

I would think Faulk would be with Tarasenko and Pietrangelo with Dunn for one timer purposes.

The PP formations are definitely a little odd but it should be interesting to see how they work. That second unit (I agree with y'all it's really the 1st unit) has arguably our 5 best players in transition - they should have no issue gaining entry and setting up. My fear is that they run into problems with predictability as Tarasenko is the obvious shooting threat.

Excited to see Thomas on that unit - they'll probably try to emulate TOR PP1 with Thomas making the plays from the right side, looking cross-ice for Tarasenko gliding in from the blue line, or throwing it toward the crease to let Schwartz/Schenn make plays in tight.

Same, Perron is an excellent shooter and passer but is a pretty weak possession player which is fine when you’ve got an elite possession player like O’Reilly. I want to see what a strong transition player like Kyrou or Thomas could do on that line as neither Perron or ROR are great puck carriers, but I’m sure this’ll work nonetheless.

Pietrangelo has been said he is comfortable playing Left Hand Defenseman which he looks very solid on that side, but I would much rather see Faulk on that side because he played on that side before.
