I figure another Entry-Level player to stock-pile behind Leason, McMicheal, Protas, Pinho, Gersich, etc...one 1st rounder for the Cup pedigree, one 2nd rounder for the Vezina pedigree. Done and Done.

Washington probably passes on the Nashville trade? It's close but they should add a B forward prospect to get Johansen. He's worth more than a late 2nd.

Calgary isn't trading for Holtby two weeks before he hits free agency. If they are the price will be super-low. Because that's hockey tradition, whether or not it makes sense.

They might trade for him in the next couple weeks, if Talbot and Rittich both start slow, but then you have to take out the 2nd pick and put in Talbot. On average, when Talbot is traded, the return is about a 2nd round pick. Never heard of that prospect. Any good?

Maybe if Samsonov gets 12-15 under his belt by TDL...we shall see. Prospect is Russian and his older brother is in Kuzy's crew, do you need to know any more?
