This one, no way. The starting base is reasonable - Vats is worth a 2nd + conditional 5th, and rooney is a throw in either way. But then you add the salary dump and of course Smith... you have to understand Smith is a highly rated prospect with a huge amount of upside - he's no Quinny BUT he isn't too many miles removed either, and there's quite a bit of distance between him and Joulevi. I like Joulevi but his stock has fallen quite a bit, especially being sent back to the minors yet again. I think, given Vancouver's setup, it makes sense to shop him but you may have to expect a much lower return...
