Tuch is on LTIR

I know, it will pay off when he is healthy. Vegas doesn't utilize him

They aren't giving him up. They wouldn't give him up for Erik Karlsson, and Tuch's value has only gone up since then.

He plays third line. he is very capable of first line. You can only hold him back for so long

But here's the thing. They have him locked up on a great deal. Tuch will get that chance eventually, but for now he can just produce offensively at a great clip for a 3rd liner.

Sure but im just saying, you can only keep his talent on the third line for so long before he wants more

If he wants more, what's he going to do? He's on year 1 of a 7 year deal, he hasn't got any leverage. Also have you actually looked at who is ahead of him on the depth chart? Stone, Marchessault and Paccioretty are obviously way better than Tuch, but do you really believe that Tuch won't push Reilly Smith out eventually? It could happen by November

He scored 52 points in 74 games and he averaged 16:45m a game. I’m sure he’s furious.... yeah no state tax playing in Vegas > buffalo.

Vegas straight up hangs up the phone on that deal.

Also, when he returns, he may be on the 3rd line, but he will get his minutes. Whether it’s 5 on 5, PP or even the PK now, he will be fine. And the third line may have Stastny on it if Glass performs well on the second line during the time he’s out.

I agree but I also don't get the logic they have either. They wouldn't trade him for Karlsson because he's got so much potential, etc etc yet they go out and get Pacioretty, Stone and already have Smith and Marchessault on the wings..... Had Neal, Perron, Tatar previous to that.

We all see he is good enough so why isn't Vegas utilizing him as such? It made more sense for them to get Karlsson than it did Stone, didn't it? Not that Stone was a bad pickup or anything but they clearly are weaker on the RHD side than they were at wing.

Zero chance Vegas dealing Tuch for Ristolainen.

Not zero chance, he could ask for a trade if he feels under used. On Buffalo he would instantly gain minutes and recognition. Though I doubt Vegas would accept that trade

Risto is not going anywhere. Krueger will rejuvenate his game and when he is moved it will be for a over payment. Botterill can afford to be patient.
