The only way the Pens should go for Puljujarvi is if the Oilers offer Puljujarvi and a 2nd for a 4th. Maybe Puljujarvi for Johnson straight up. That's how STINK Puljujarvi is.

Sure, but the argument above is the Pens are trading Rust for a 3rd and some cap space. Puljujarvi just happens to be included and the Pens can roll the dice on trying to develop him in the AHL. The pick and cap relief are why they might do that deal.

SO you mean to say the Oilers should trade an unsigned prospect (not against cap, not on 50 man roster) WITH a 2nd to receive a 4th? Why would any GM, for any unsigned player, reduce assets instead of just eventually letting them walk for free? Its one thing to say Pulju is currently in a state of terrible value (which he likely is), but another to suggest this buffoonery. But trolling is addicting I guess.
