He and rust have very similar numbers. He has better numbers than Tanev. I assume you’ll say something stupid like Tanev adds grit or something along those lines. You need to “earn” your contract? Rust Tanev and Kahun all have similar numbers and he has them all make 3.5m. Seems to be what Pittsburgh is willing to pay for that type of player.

Anyone who watched games would tell you. Tanev looks really good on the ice. Much like Rust does. Kahun is NO WHERE to be found through what 4 games now including preseason. Shown nothing to deserve any of that.

Hell I took one look at Tanev in the preseason and knew right then they had a keeper. You saw that in game 1. He's noticeable on the ice.
