Initial Creation Date: Oct. 2, 2019

Description
After two first games and training camp, I just can say only one thing — I think, that Predators is better than ever.
But they still have positions to upgrade:
1) I think that Smith wasn't very good in our new Jo?A line.
2) I think that Turris line wasn't good enough. Grimaldi was good, but I think GMDP should try to play with his money and find new 3rd/4th line center(or winger), that will be much cheaper and then use this money to buy ultimate 2nd line forward.
3) I think everyone understands the fact, that NSH need one additional 3rd pair defensmen with capabilities to play on the 2nd pair.
----------
I do not say, that NSH need to make any moves right now. I just do not say, that NSH need to make them at all. Preds already have perfect team. If Tolvanen(or Pitlick, Richard) find themselves mb. they can play this role of 2nd line forward, as well as Trenin as 4th line center(he is a really nice physical guy, and I think NSH need more players like he/Watson on their 3rd and 4th lines).
----------
Preds fans what do you think?
-----------
Additional:
If we have any chances to trade Domi from Canadiens....oh god, I am 100% in it. Same package as for RNH, MB additional second round pick. But I do not think will trade him. What is more real?...:
I am looking for RNH, I think he will be the perfect fit in our second line...just imagine...same cap space as Turris, but he is left-hand forward, he is younger and right now he is better.

Protected:
Forsberg, Duchene, Arvi, Johansen, Josi, Ekholm, Ellis, Fabbro, Rinne, Saros (do not use them, because there is no chance, that they will be traded).
Write your ideas of trades down in comments.

So here is my ideas:
Fare/real or not? :)
Trades
1.
NSH
  1. Nugent-Hopkins, Ryan
  2. 2020 4th round pick (EDM)
EDM
  1. Tolvanen, Eeli
  2. Turris, Kyle
  3. 2020 1st round pick (NSH)
Additional Details:
!!! Deadline deal, if Turris collect about 40-45 points and RNH collect about 55-60 !!!
*And ofc, if EDM will miss PO
**Tolvanen can be replaced by Pitlick or Richard, idk who will be better this season, but they are TOP3 Admirals young players.
2.
NSH
  1. Boedker, Mikkel ($1,500,000 retained)
  2. DeMelo, Dylan
Additional Details:
Here can be any good defensmen and maybe additional forward for 3,4 lines. But price always the same and can't be more than 2020 2nd, 2021 3rd and one non-roster player, that also isn't top prospect of organisation.
OTT
  1. Santini, Steven
  2. 2020 2nd round pick (NSH)
  3. 2021 3rd round pick (NSH)

Ottawa Trade is really good imo. Demelo is under appreciated he’s really solid and boedker isn’t worth much. This is kind of trade I can see them doing if Ottawa can’t resign demelo.

Edmonton shouldn’t do that deal. Turris is a downgrade at centre. There’s been all this tolvanen hype for the past 3 years and he can’t seem to crack the roster full time with underwhelming numbers in the AHL. And a the pick is most likely a late 1st. Not exactly the return id want for a guy who can be #1 centre on a team but is a tremendous #2C

Turris, a 1st, and a former first rounder for a fringe #1 center? Sounds familiar.

RNH contract will expired after 2020-2021 season, and I think that EDM still far away from successful season with him, so why they need to keep him? I think they should build their team around Drai and McDavid and their top prospects. All other players should be traded to get max value.
As I said, this trade can happen only if Turris reach 40 points before TDL, so it means he returns to his 50-55 points per season stats. I think it is not bad to second line center.
Tolvanen still is an elite prospect and former 1st round pick. In Edmonton he can take spot at top 2 lines.
Late first - still first, remember Pastrnak...

I don't think the upgrade from Turris to RNH is enough to justify depleting Nashville's shallow prospect pool by trading Tolvanen and a 1st in a deep draft. Turris is looking good so far, just needs better wingers. Try Tolvanen in a top six role before giving up on him, and slide Smith down to the 3rd line to play with Turris, and maybe Pitlick.

Yeah, you are right. Hope Tolvy and other prospects will thrive in MA and finally will take their spots in Nashville.
I still think that Poile will make atleast 1 move, including forward group. Preds so deep, but they need one more winger like Arvi or Forsberg...guy that can score goals. MB it will be Tolvy, hope, hope...
