Oh no not again. Got to figure the Blues, might, might trade him next summer if Pietrangelo resigns, and they need cap. Until then, the defending Cup champs are going with their strongest lineup which includes Parayko.

Hes making fun of all the people who overvalue RD so much on this site. You cant acquire a right handed defenceman because people think you have to overpay for one. They think hall for Larson set the price for right handed defenceman when in reality you can give up almost nothing and get pk subban

Kapanen, Ceci(retain 50% salary) and a second round pick. This would make it even in cap and the leafs have plenty of forward depth to fill the void. St.louis can bench Ceci for $2.25mil and let him walk into free agency this summer. Kapanen can play a top 6 roll easily.

It would be a price that no Toronto fan would be comfortable paying since quality RHDs are essentially unicorns. If Taylor Hall only gets you Adam Larsson, I don't want to know the price of a Parayko deal

You would be better off going for Pietrangelo honestly... however, I do like this much better as it would make the blues much more likely to resign Pietrangelo for a Brent Seabrook-esc contract.
