Why would we resign Koivu to that amount for one, once again blocking a young player that need that playing time. If he comes back he would more than likely be our fourth line center. you don't have Kaprizov on the roster is another. They aren't going to move Staal to the wing. As much hope as i have for Ek he is no more than a third or fourth line center. if anyone that is on the roster above Kunin is the first line center with Kaprizov and Zucker on the wings. Parise will be a second to third line guy. Duclair is a top 9 guy. Exactly what we have this year a log jam at the forward position.
