Well can you make a counteroffer that involves both Chiasson and Dillon?

Now that Mantha finally seems to be breaking out Detroit isn't going to trade him. I like Nurse but I wouldn't trade Mantha for him. Based on what Puljujärvi has done in the NHL he is a bottom 6 guy. I know he was taken 4th overall but until he proves he can be something more in the NHL he doesn't have much value. Cave is undrafted, 24, has been in the AHL since the 2015-16 season and this is his first time starting in the NHL. So its basically Nurse for Mantha and a 2nd. At the end of last season Yzerman was unwilling to trade Mantha or AA for Trouba who has been on Detroit's radar for a quite a while. Detroit did really want Trouba but the asking price was just to high so I can't see Detroit accepting.

You are right about Puljujärvi. I'm curious to see how Cave does this season Holland is a very good judge of talent and likes the underdog.

Problem is at this point DIllon is too important for the sharks to trade without a replacement and Benning is not a replacement as he sucks
