I had thought about a trade involving wood and toffoli this offseason, but the way things are going, I dont think the devils can afford to lose Vatanen regardless of the return. Unless they are out of playoff contention I think he stays until the deadline.

Equally, I think moving wood immediately moves McLeod up to either 4C or 4RW so IDK if I would want to include him either. Nico seems to be greatly improved on the faceoff dot, and Zacha has continued to be sub 50%. I think he will trend back to his baseline once he knocks off all of the rust, but McLeod gives the devils flexibility on the dot that hayden does not. That said, rooney isnt too bad on the faceoff dot either.
