so ott gives up a 4th and a minor league for namestnikov with 750k retained and you are going to offer a 3rd and two better prospects? i believe the rangers would've accepted that deal if it was available

Considering this could be the last year of contending for the Sharks I'd take the guy with a 20 goal NHL season over the one with a 10 goal KHL season.

Namesntikov was making 4m. Karlsson is making 2m. rangers could've been cap compliant retaining 2m if that was on the table.. it's worth the better pick (also in 2020 not 2021) and two better prospects.
