Sorry but the Edmonton trade favors them too heavily, it’s not happening.
Devils trade also isn’t happening because we won’t trade with NJD. When both teams are rebuilding and not contending at all, rivals trading is okay. But when both teams are competing against one another, we would never give them Strome who could potentially replicate last season’s success in NJ. The value is good though.

The problem with including JP in the EDM trade is that he warrants some value coming back from the Rangers..hence the inclusion of Georgiev. 2 things wrong with this: 1. JP is a big unknown...I have big reservations with a player who struggled in a lineup with McD, Drais, and RNH. 2. Georgiev has a lot of value to the Rangers as a B/U. He may get 30+ starts this year (in which he may greatly increase his market value)- but also him being B/U allows Shesty to play full time (in Hartford)...Shesty forced into NHL B/U role- while that role works well for Georgi- may stunt Shesty's growth.

I am honestly against the second trade wholeheartedly it was just a value type of trade. need a 2nd line C though because Strome (albeit 2 games in) does not seem to be worthy.
