I'd think that EDM would want a young NHL player (cost controlled w/ upside) in the deal....Strome doesn't totally fit that- and I think EDM has seen enough of him anyway...I think the package offered actually favors EDM- but as long as McD and Drais are there I don't think they will move roster players-let alone stars- for players who project 2-3 years to NHL....That said...something like Howden + 2020 1st (top 10 protected) + a prospect ( ranked #10 to #15 in NYR system) is what the Rangers would offer.
