Those Canes Trade is way undervaluing those cane players and overvaluing the Stars players, Aho and the picks would get Bishop and Seguin... So then add Haula and Turbo, 2 Budding Elite Players...

            Stars trade away there #1 Defenseman...for a 4th line...?

Oh...and then Buffalo Trade, Risto for a 4th line center, BTW we have 4 of.those... and a Defensmen which happens to be the reason Risto would be traded... BECAUSE WE HAVE 2 MANY D-MEN

            Toronto would match that offersheet

And why would Nashville so that? They lose cap space...and value

Hey thanks for the reply to my super serious post! I was really hoping the Stars would make 17 trades after being a goal away from beating the cup champs to acquire only Finnish players, but I’m glad you pointed out that that is indeed unrealistic. Appreciate it!!

            I love your post.
It would be similar to the Senators trading for cancer Duchene after nearly beating the eventual Stanley Cups champs in OT game 7 the previous year.
That is not the time to make stupid trades, small tinkering is all that is needed, not big moves. Dallas made those small moves obtaining Pavelski and Sekera without mortgaging the future. Smart management. They may not be performing well now, but by the end of the season those acquisitions will prove to be very good.
