Description

Jets may take their lumps throughout the year with the Defense having growing pains. Morrissey, Heinola and Niku are all projected top be top 4 defenders so bringing in a home-town boy like Hamonic to round out the top 4 should leave them in a good spot. Pionk is an above average third pairing guy and Samberg, Stanley, and Dahlstrom can battle it out for third pairing minutes on the left side.

I would hate to see the Jets lose Roslovic or Ehlers for a 1 season bandaid.

Apples probably gets 1 mil. Brossoit most likely will get 2x2.25 at least. With his numbers he could probably go to FA and get a decent amount.

I agree that moving roslovic or ehlers or anyone doesn’t really make sense when we could just target hamonic next summer. Let the young guys play a lot of valuable minutes. I think 5x5 is fair for hamonic.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Perreault get moved for a 4th with like 750k retention. We have guys who can replace him and could allow us some
Breathing room.
