Description

Hamonic just built a huge house just outside of Winnipeg. I wouldn’t be surprised if he took a deal like 4x5 or 5x5. I wouldn’t pay him anymore than 5.5 a year and wouldn’t go any longer than 5 years. I think if we can ride this year out, let the kids get some really valuable experience we could be in a really good spot for next year. Our core stays the same and our blue line just gets even more solid. I’m just assuming cap goes up a bit more than it did last summer, I’d say 83.5 is a safe bet for the lowest it could be.

Honestly could see pionk being traded next offseason if they do go after hamonic, he’s a little expensive for a bottom pairing guy and could be come expendable. Especially with how poolman is playing so far. Samberg and Stanley and dahlstrom will all be fighting for that last LHD spot.

I could definitely live with this roster. Funny to think that the Jets would be in a position to trade bait a RHD...

The way I see it, Niku, Pionk and Poolman will all be given significant opportunity to prove themselves this year. Whomever falters the most would be on the outside looking in next season.

No kidding right lol. Like pionk would be a bottom pairing guy on this roster. He could be trade bait.

Heinola is turning out to be a real steal, the trouba trade looks good for us rn
