I think Hornqvist could a fit in Ottawa, but he's been declining, and injury prone. I don't mind him in part of a swap involving Gudbranson and Ryan, but why would they give up a valuable young centre for an expensive, aging winger?

because Ottawa has a lot of youth C's coming through. Hornqvist can be a good presence in the locker room, also the prospect can be flipped just put Bellerive in there to fill the spot

Sens having a lot of young centres IS a good reason to trade Tierney. They should trade him for picks and/or prospects. Tierney is our last significant trade chip for the rebuild. He's no Karlsson or Stone, or even a Dzingel really, but he's the last significant piece to be dealt, and they need to make sure get something that helps the rebuild, and Horny doesn't do that.
