If NJ wants to use some superstitions, have them sign Troy Brouwer and then get rid of him.

Teams that were eluded by success, like WSH and STL, all got their cups shortly after getting rid of him. If the supersititions are correct, now CGY should win this year and FLA in the next 3 years. And if NJ signs him, they should also get in the line.

Like you math and your logic. But the gods control the world differently. Leafs have not won a Cup in 52 years or even a final appearance. All this when the NHL, had 12 teams and worked themselves up to now 31 teams. Odds say the Leafs should have better success.

PK is new to the Devils and Hall only played around 30 games before getting injured last season and PK isn't the only new player in NJ. You have to give it time for the players to get used to playing with each other and figure out where everyone fits in on this team. So benching PK and Hall is only going to drag that process out.
