Yup. Stop. Full stop (except for Hedman, he was a slow developer)
I'm not sure if you're agreeing with him or disagreeing with him, but your comments spurred me to look up their stats:
Draft+1
Dahlin: 82, 9-35-44 [-13], 21:09 (18 all season)
Hedman: 74, 4-16-20 [-3], 20:50 (turned 19 in December)
Doughty: 81, 6-21-27 [-17], 23:49 (turned 19 in December)
Karlsson: played in SHL (18 all season)
Draft+2
Dahlin: 4, 1-6-7 [+2], 18:36 (19 all season) ** SO FAR **
Hedman: 79, 3-23-26 [+3] 21:00 (turned 20 in December)
Doughty: 82, 16-43-59 [+20], 24:58 (turned 20 in December)
Karlsson: 60, 5-21-26 [-5], 20:06 (19 all season)
I think it's fair to say that, at least offensively, Dahlin is ahead of these players at the same age. Doughty broke out offensively in his Draft+2 year, it remains to be seen how Dahlin does but he's had a pretty hot start so far. Hedman didn't break out until Draft+5, Karlsson's Draft+3 year was basically equivalent to Dahlin's Draft+1 except EK was -30 on the year.
This kid is the Goods, no question.
