LOL we're 5 games in and have a 55xGF% (aka very good). We've blown leads to CAR when we were tired then blew leads to DAL and NSH we historically are terrible against. You should expect to lose to them every time we play them. Reirden is great.

1) no bc nobody ever pays their bets on here. Especially leaf fans.

Gardner would have more points than Carlson last year
Nylander would out score Wilson last year
Matthews would win mvp
Penguins won’t lose in first round.

Exactly, and you guys crushed the Blues, Stars, and the freaking Canes in terms of xg. I think this is an excellent looking team. Panik, Hagelin, Gudas, Kempny, Jensen, and Hathaway are all excellent acquisitions from the last two or three seasons.

Reirden isn't great but the Caps are a very good team. As soon as Panik, Hagelin and Holtby get things going, this team is uber dangerous. Cup contender.

Reirden seems to help players see the big picture and look for ways to gradually improve. I know the team's start to this season hasn't been perfect, but after twenty games, at least they're in first place, overall?
