Morrissey is still underrated imo. But I’m also a biased fan. I just don’t hear a lot of people talking about him.

I was going to put him but I think he’s outgrown the “underrated” label. Fans/players know he’s a legitimate top pairing D

I’d agree that wpg fans know this, but I never hear other people talking about him. He’s about the only defenseman from wpg Ppl know at this point lol. Heinola looks so good too, I call wpgs trouba trade a win for them.

After the the blues SC run, it’s well known parayko is One of the best shutdown RHD in the game. He was the blues best defenseman.

Having productive players on ELC (especially defenseman) is a luxury in the salary cap era. I was surprised heinola made the team (mainly because he is an 18 yr old picked late in the 1st rd) but after watching him play vs the islanders, it seems like he’s going to have a bright future. Not a flashy D by any means, he just has a high hockey IQ and does the little things so well.

last season he really came into his own as a top pairing D. After the Pitt series , people started to take notice of how good he is defensively (most people don’t know he drafted as an offensive Dman)

Just dig that crazy shot ...took him awhile but he is truly underated and should be among the league's elite ...would still rather have parayko though ...

Josi (obviously) and Ellis get much more recognition IMO. I still think he’s very underrated for what he brings to that team. He isn’t talked about enough.

Hes really not, before 18-19 people were calling ekholm the best dman on the team
