6 players got 100 or more points last year. I doubt we'll see 6 again. Who do you think hits 100 points?

I'd say two players: McDavid and Kucherov.

I'm gonna say 5 players reach at least 100 points. Crazy, but all 5 come from just 2 teams.

McDavid and Draisaitl will both surpass 100 points, especially if EDM improves as a team from last season. They're the best 1-2 combo I've ever seen in my lifetime as a hockey fan. Also, their PP could be top 5 in the league this season. Tampa's offense is ridiculously lethal. I think all 3 of their big guns get there. Otherwise, I think we'll see a bunch of mid 90's.

1. McDavid 115+
2. Draisaitl 105+
3. Kucherov is 115+
4. Stamkos 105+
5. Point 100+

I think Draisaitl gets somewhere in the high 70s or low 80s when it comes to points. If he plays with McDavid all year he's more likely to get 100.

Right now there are 11 players on pace to score 100+ points this season. Pasta, McDavid and Draisaitl are pretty safe bets if they play 82 games. It'd be amazing if Carlson reached 100 points as a D. He's currently on pace for 119. Crazy.

McD and Drai are mortal locks bar injury, pasta's a good bet and Marchand can probably do it again. Matthews and MacKinnon also seem really likely to do it this year. Carlson, Barkov and Ovie are the wild cards: on the face of it Ovie's current production looks fairly sustainable and he's barely off a 100-point pace, Barkov's close but his wingman's shooting 20%, Carlson's on pace but a third of assists are on the powerplay and he's shooting 13%.

Let's say the M brigade, Drai, Pasta, and Ovie. 7 total, which is consistent with the increase in scoring. So sayeth my 4 am thoughts.
