It look good!
But I would keep DeBrincat with Kane and secure the second line with Tatar...
as well DeHaan before Maatta... and maybe playing together if Koekkoek can't take more minutes

I need to see another year of Gus first to be comfortable with this.

Debrincat doesn't play the 1st line. He's too small against the opponents first lines. They tried that experiment for a handful of games last year a couple times and didn't work.

Don't like this for the Hawks. Gus is more valuable then Tatar and while i see you're offsetting that with Smith and moving up a round in the draft, still not comfortable with Tatar. He's on the tailend of his career and we have a similar player in Saad. Folin is dead weight...zero value for the Hawks given how deep we are on defensive prospects....Gilbert, Carlsson, Beaudin, Krys, Mitchell, Boqvist, Holm, etc.

Not sure MTL wants to move Tatar. I’d also think De Haan and Boker are our 1st line D. Then Keith Murph. Then Maatta Seabs/Kookoo

You realized that you will loose Gus for nothing in the off-season... getting one extra year of Tatar would be benificial IMO

If MTL get solidify their D.. yes Tatar is available as we can insert Domi back on the wing top line and bring back Peohling at C

I thought it was interesting. Replacing Smith with tatar is a win for sure. Yeah, I do think Gus is a really good dman, but we cant afford him next year. Tatar has 2 years vs 1 for Gus. My preference would be MTL can keep frolin. He doesnt add anything to the trade. Stan should still seak other offers, but tatar could also be shed next at the TDL worst case to get more back. I wouldn't be pissed if something like this happened. Let's put it that way.

I also think MTL could trade picks prospects and tatar would help MTL with their playoff chances.

What about half a year? He'll have 40-45 points by the TDL. His defense is getting a little better. He plays both LD and RD equally.
