Why? In place of who? Holl has looked pretty good with more of an opportunity.

Holl has looked good. Especially considering how he basically had a year off hockey. He seems like a great #6 rhd to me, and with his contract he's a perfect #6 the for the leafs.

The leafs made the decision to let the 20 yr old Lily develop for another year where he plays all situations and gets big minutes. Unless he dominates in that role for the Marlies and he forces a call up after Christmas, due to injuries or other reasons, just stick with the plan and let the kid be a Matlie for another year.

Because next year he's going to need to be on the NHL roster due to the cap crunch, giving him a couple games for some experience would help
