I am still optimistic on Quick. I am in no way a kings fan, rather the kings are one of my more disliked teams. Quick though has long been one of my favorite goalies, and I believe he is an example of someone who can really become of something on another team. Mrazek has been alright, but him and quick could be a very strong tandem. If quick can't handle the 60 games of old, why not jobshare him to get his numbers up again? Carolina can dump a bad contract in Reimer and give up hardly anything for what could be a turnaround steal.

If Fleury is nothing more than a bottom pair Dman in Carolinas eyes, i think theyd consider it, but if they still think he's a top 4 guy they pass

Believe me, there is no reason to be optimistic about Quick. The underlying #'s are wose than the normal stats and he gets paid way too much for 4 more years.
Also Reimer has lowkey been good in CAR so far.

What range does that chart consider?
Also seeing Pekka Rinne in the "worse" half of that chart is raising an eyebrow for sure.

There are a lot of overrated goalies in this league. These results are for this year so far (so the usual sample size warning) but Quick has been down there for a few years now.
Rinne has not been good so far.

Okay. I thought it was last year.
Are you able to generate a chart such as that from last year for a more accurate look? If not, that's alright, I do get what you are trying to say.

Okay so I did some digging and I found this. I recognise it from the end last year, but I cant find an exact date on it.

That chart makes me wonder why Keith Kinkaid has been so hyped over recent times.... he seems to be a below average backup rather than a high end one. I also am surprised by the performance of linus ullmark. I thought he would become a starter with time.

Interesting return for Toffoli. When thinking of TT, I think the return will be similar to Evander Kane: a B prospect, a late pick, and a 2nd that turns into a 1st if the player is resigned.
ERod has not been great so far this season, but with Larsson and Girgensons both UFA this year, BUF will need someone that can play with speed on the 4th line.

Toffoli and Kane aren't nearly on the same level. Toffoli won't get more than the value of a late round first.
