Description

Toews-mayfield pairing is off to a rough start. Trotz should move Dobson up to the 2nd pairing with toews. Two D who have elite skating ability and can move the puck efficiently. Even though trotz had Dobson play his off side in his 2nd NHL, he handled it well. He was the only Islander with a positive game score tonight.

Trotz should take Lee off of barzals wing. Barzal needs a winger with speed that can keep up with him.

Pelech-pulock have had a rough few games but they have a large sample size of being effective together- I would rotate boychuk and Mayfield on the 3rd pairing.

Once Dobson gets more comfortable, I think pelech-Dobson, toews-pulock could be the pairings.
