Marco Scandella?

I don't disagree that he would be a good or even better fit but Buffalo is finally seeing some success so I don't see them trading him in season. They're blue line is pretty crowded so maybe in the off season they would consider it but I was thinking more about prying a player from a tanking team

They either trade him at the trade deadline, or run the risk of him leaving, we also need Pilot to be playing in the NHL as he was very good last year.

Outside perspective but as far as im aware Scandella hardly makes the line up and would be cut if not for the contract. Also his contract ends this year.

P.s Habs wont trade their 2020 1st, they are hosting the draft

Not sure of that, cause had they won the Aho offer Sheet, they would have lost their 1st pick

I hope Bergevin does not take the draft being in Montreal into consideration, it's hard enough for habs to get a trade done, if there's an opportunity they should go for it. Draft Day in June is not that big of an event, even in Montreal, ...people are at the beach !

Unless this year is really bad ! then yes, draft day will be important
