Quite frankly, I would never do that trade. We essentially swap Ceci for Manson, while losing Kapanen and an interesting prospect in the process. And to add insult, we're also taking one of their LTIR players.

I think people overvalue the difference between a player like Manson and Ceci. It's not that high. I get that Ceci is UFA. But in that case, the return for the Leafs is just not good.
